Indigo Clarke is a New York based Creative Director with over fifteen years experience at leading agencies, brands and publications. A conceptual, strategic thinker with a strong writing and fashion background, Indigo has unique experience creating compelling and culturally-relevant campaigns and content, as well as in defining and repositioning brand voice and vision.
Currently Global Head of Brand Messaging at MAC Cosmetics, Indigo is responsible for concepting the seasonal campaigns and supplementary cross-platform content and experiences, as well as developing and implementing a new brand voice and creative vision. Indigo’s previous agency experience includes Creative Director Vice / Virtue Worldwide, Creative Director Chandelier Creative, Associate Creative Director Co:Collective, and on the brand side Editorial Director Nasty Gal and US Editorial Director ASOS.
As an editor, Indigo has worked for global publications including Harper's Bazaar UK, British Vogue, AnOther Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Lula Magazine, W Magazine, Elle Magazine US and Australia, Oyster Magazine, Russh Magazine and SHOWstudio.
Originally from Sydney, Indigo lived in London from 2005 - 2010, relocating to New York in 2010.
